Mock Location Studio is provided by M UTILITIEZ as a development and quality-assurance utility using Android's official Mock Location feature.
The app may access precise or approximate device location when the user grants permission. This supports the optional real-current-location shortcut and the user-initiated location foreground service. Users may also enter coordinates, search for places, create route presets, and generate test reports.
Selected coordinates, saved locations, route presets, test reports, and settings are stored in the app's private storage on the device. M UTILITIEZ does not operate a server that receives this local data. Users can delete saved entries in the app, export selected data through Android's document picker, or remove app-private data by uninstalling the app.
The interactive map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap over HTTPS. Place searches may be processed by the Android system Geocoder or Nominatim. These services may receive search text, requested map areas, IP address, app user-agent information, and other network metadata needed to answer the request. Their processing is governed by their respective terms and privacy practices.
Route and report exports occur only when the user chooses a destination through Android's system document picker. The app does not automatically upload exported files.
'Optional Pro purchases are processed by Google Play. The app queries Google Play for product availability, localized pricing, purchase state, and entitlement restoration. The developer does not receive or store payment card details. Google processes purchase information under its own privacy policy.
'The current app contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, account system, or developer-operated remote database. The developer does not sell personal data.
Location permissions support user-requested location testing and the optional current-location shortcut. Notification permission supports the persistent foreground-service notification. The location test begins only after a user action and can be stopped from the app or notification. The app does not request background-location permission.
Local records remain until the user deletes them or uninstalls the app. The developer retains no copy because the app has no developer-operated backend.
Mock Location Studio is intended for adult developers and technical testers and is not directed to children.
This policy may be updated when app functionality or data practices change. The updated date will be shown at the top of this page.
